New In: Our Blue Lapis Necklace and Pearl Earring Designs
Hello friends,
Over the past month, I've ventured slightly off the beaten path of my usual design style to explore some truly captivating materials and create pieces that are a tad different from my signature designs. I'm excited to share these new creations with you and hear your thoughts!
Introducing the Blue Lapis and 18ct Gold Plated Bead Necklace
One of the standout pieces I've been working on is the Blue Lapis and 18ct Gold Plated Bead Necklace. The inspiration for this piece came from the rich, deep blue of the lapis stones, which are as beautiful as a starlit night sky. Pairing these striking gems with handmade rolled wave beads, I sought to capture the undulating rhythm of the sea—a theme that often recurs in my work.
The Craftsmanship Behind the Necklace
Each lapis stone is carefully selected for its unique beauty, ensuring that every necklace tells its own story. The gold-plated beads are crafted in my workshop, with a technique that involves rolling textured flat gold vermeil pieces into a bead, reflecting the light beautifully as if sun-drenched waves are playing across the ocean's surface. The combination of lapis lazuli and gold makes this necklace not just a statement piece but a wearable piece of art that complements every outfit.
Delicate Yet Daring: Dainty Pearl Drop Earrings
Another new addition to my collection are the Dainty Pearl Drop Earrings. These earrings are a more subtle affair, designed to catch the light and the eyes of those around you. Crafted from gold vermeil, the earrings feature a simple pearl drop that provides an elegant, understated look perfect for special occasions—or just because you feel like adding a little sparkle to your day.
Pearls have always been symbols of classic elegance, but when paired with the complementary touch of gold vermeil, they take on a new, contemporary feel. These earrings are lightweight, ensuring they're comfortable enough to wear all day, every day, should you so choose. They're also available in silver, offering a versatile option to match any style or occasion.
