Fringe By The Sea 2024: Where You Can Find Hannah Louise Lamb

Hannah Louise Lamb Jewellery at Fringe By The Sea 2024

I’m excited to invite you to see some of my handmade coastal-inspired jewellery in person at Fringe By The Sea 2024 this August. This year, Fringe By The Sea is set to host its biggest ever programme with over 260 events, celebrating art, culture, and community in the beautiful setting of North Berwick, East Lothian. As a reigning title holder of Scotland’s Best Cultural Event, the festival promises an unforgettable experience with a theme of "Sharing Spaces", bringing people together through shared experiences and artistic expression.

Open Studios at Astrid’s Studio
21 Westgate, North Berwick, EH39 4AE

Join me at Astrid Trugg’s charming studio in North Berwick for open studios. Nestled in a quaint pebbled courtyard, this studio is a haven for creativity. Alongside the incredible artists Astrid and Angela Repping, I’ll be displaying my bespoke jewellery pieces on the 3rd & 4th August, and again on the 10th & 11th August, from 11 AM to 4 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to step into the creative spaces of North Berwick’s talented artists and explore a beautiful selection of still life and seascape paintings, portraiture, sea-going vessels, and bespoke jewellery.

“Souvenir” at Rock and Bird
64 High St, North Berwick EH39 4HQ

I'm also excited to present my work at Rock and Bird for a very special exhibition titled “Souvenir.” This exhibition will feature postcard-sized art by North Berwick Art Collective members, beautifully curated in the Rock and Bird window for Fringe By The Sea. My contribution includes a series of mismatched silver stud earrings displayed on vintage postcards of local views. I’m working on a series of five different designs, each telling a unique story of our beloved North Berwick.

Nautical Jewellery at Bonzo Art
58 High St, North Berwick EH39 4HQ

Swing by Bonzo Art to explore my collection of anchor-themed jewellery. One of my favorites is the mismatched anchor charm necklace. I’ve made these necklaces for many years with butterflies and flowers, and it’s wonderful to revisit the design with a nautical twist. If you’re visiting North Berwick this summer, make sure to stop by Rachel Marshall’s vibrant studio on the High Street. It might be chilly and windy outside, but it’s always warm and welcoming at Bonzo Art. Rachel’s studio is a friendly working space featuring paintings, prints, mugs, notebooks, tea towels, and gifts by other artists too.

“Hope Is a Thing With Feathers” Exhibition in Aberlady
The SOC, Waterston House, Aberlady, East Lothian, EH32 0PY
1 AUG - 15 SEP 2024 | OPEN WED-SUN, 10AM-5PM

I’m also excited to announce my participation in an exhibition at The Society of Scottish Artists in Aberlady, just along the road. The exhibition is titled “Hope Is a Thing With Feathers” and features these four bird themed pieces in the images below. This exhibition runs throughout August and showcases a variety of artistic interpretations inspired by the theme of hope and feathers.

Fringe By The Sea 2024 is set to be an amazing event filled with art, music, and community spirit. I am incredibly excited to share my work with all of you and to be part of such a dynamic festival. Each location where my jewellery will be displayed holds a special place in my heart, and I hope to see you there!
