ordering

  • We highly recommend using our free ring measuring service when ordering or refer to our Ring Measuring Guide when ordering regular sized bands.

  • If you have an unusually large (or small) finger size, Hannah may need to adjust the price slightly, particularly on gold rings.  There is a lot more gold in a size Z ring than a size K, and with the price of gold fluctuating our prices are based on an average finger size. Any questions please do get in touch.

    All gold rings are made in 100% recycled gold or Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold.

    Hannah is a registered Fairmined Licensee, so if you would like your jewellery made from fairmined gold, please contact us for a quote.

    All palladium and platinum rings are made in 100% recycled metal.

  • You can. In an ideal world both halves of the ring would be the same type and carat of metal, i.e. white gold and yellow gold, rather than silver and gold. However, due to popular demand and budget constraints, Hannah is now offering her coast ring in 9ct yellow gold and silver. Please contact us for more details.

  • Yes, absolutely. The final price is dependent on whether you have enough gold for the whole ring, or just a contribution towards it, Hannah will let you know costings before starting. It can save you money and it’s a lovely sentimental thing to do with heirloom jewellery.

    As a guideline if you had enough gold for the whole ring the price ranges from £595. It’s £695 for a two part ring, £725 and for a three part ring and £750 for platinum. Extra metal can be added to make up enough for the ring.

    Stone setting prices are on top of this, and are dependent on the size of the stone and the metal.

  • All pieces are beautifully packaged in a Hannah Louise Lamb jewellery box and ready to gift. Our packaging fits with our ethical pledge, sending items in recyclable cardboard boxes instead of jiffy bags, and our gorgeous jewellery boxes are made from mulberry leaf paper or FSC certified cardboard (depending on the piece of jewellery).

  • Yes we do! You can buy one here. Ideal if you don’t know the recipient’s ring size, or as a gift for a colleague, or for a short notice birthday or Christmas present, this handwritten gift voucher can be made out to any value, simply add the preset amounts to your basket to reach your desired gift voucher value (e.g. 2 x £100 voucher and 1 x £50 voucher for a total of £250)

    We will send a printed gift voucher in a card wallet, wrapped with ribbon and posted to you or direct to the recipient. 

  • This is can be a problem as my rings are quite tricky to re-size because of the two part design. Please contact us and we can give you some options to find their ring size.

    Alternatively, I can send you a ring sizer and a card to gift on the day so you have something to wrap up, and then we can work out the finer details once the cat is out of the bag!

  • Orders placed through this website are paid through Stripe with a credit or debit card. You do not need a Stripe account to buy something through this website, and you can learn more about Stripe and their impeccable security here.

    We also accept cheque payments and online bank transfers. Please contact us if you would like to make payment with either of these methods.

delivery & Returns

  • Most pieces are made to order. You will find the estimated make-time on each product page.

    Depending on the piece, creating your jewellery usually takes anywhere from a couple of days to around six weeks. For remodelling jobs please allow 12-16 weeks.

  • If your order has not already been despatched, please contact us and we will try our best to amend your details.

  • Within the UK, delivery is FREE!

    International delivery is FREE. If you would like to upgrade to DHL the cost generally ranges from £30-£50.

  • Duties and taxes may apply to shipments outside the UK, the customer will be responsible for these charges. It's important to note that Hannah Louise Lamb has no control over these fees, and we cannot provide guidance on the specific costs, as they differ from country to country. For more details, please reach out to your local customs office. Please be aware that we are unable to reimburse you for any duties and taxes paid upon the delivery of your order.

  • For orders sent with a tracked delivery service, you will receive tracking details within your despatch email.

  • Hannah’s last order dates for Christmas delivery are in early December. Things do get very hectic and busy from early November onwards, so the earlier the better!

COASTLINE, MOUNTAIN RANGE & SKYLINE COLLECTION

  • It can be 1 mile or 100 miles, or anything in between. If you tell Hannah the place most important to you she can send you a mock up of the map before you order. Sometimes it works better to zoom right in and sometimes it works better to take in a longer stretch of coast. If you are unsure then Hannah will work with you to create the perfect map and will confirm all the details before you order.

  • No. Hannah uses several different maps to find the best one for your stretch of coastline. Just tell her the place name, or a stretch between two points and she will find a map for the area.

  • Yes of course, just email it over and Hannah will turn it into a workable silhouette for you to check before ordering.

  • Yes they are two separate pieces, the land and the sea (or the land and the sky). Assuming the ring is the right size and fits perfectly then it sits snugly on the finger and the two halves don’t come apart when being worn. If you wanted the two halves permanently joined then Hannah can do this by special request by sending it off to be laser welded - just contact Hannah for details and any additional cost.

  • Our rings are very tricky to resize because of the two part design, so it's best to get it right first time by using our Free Ring Measuring Service. Where gemstones are involved this becomes even tricker, so if you have any doubts on the sizing please contact Hannah beforehand.

    If there has been an error in the size ordered, some rings can be resized dependent on the design.

    If it is possible To resize yohr ring, you can purchase our Ring Resizing Service here. There will be a fee of £30 to re-size your plain coast ring, or £40 if your ring has a flush set diamond or sapphire stone set in it (other flush set gemstones cannot take heat therefore cannot be resized). Gold rings may incur an additional charge if the ring size has to go up a significant amount. Two tone coast rings and bezel set gemstone rings cannot be resized. You can send the ring back to Hannah with a note of the correct size (remember to be professionally measured for a WIDE flat band ring), and your return address but please contact Hannah in the first instance to discuss the resizing. You can pay for the resizing by bank transfer or cheque, or we can send you a link to make payment.

    Please not that we cannot accept returns on any personalised or bespoke orders.

REMODELLING

  • Hannah can remodel your existing jewellery into a new coastline ring, mountain ring or skyline ring.

    Please bear in mind that Hannah cannot accept responsibility for gemstones that she has not provided (for example some old heirloom stones may have weaknesses, or inclusions and fissures hidden by settings, that are only revealed when dismantling the original jewellery, or when setting into the new piece).
    Allow around 12-16 weeks for a remodel.

  • All custom pieces are hand made to order with your own unique choice of subject as long as it suits Hannah’s skills and design style. If you have any queries about how the final result will look, we can email you a mock up to check before we start cutting.

    Please not that we cannot accept returns on any personalised or bespoke orders but we will take you through the whole process from start to finish to ensure you are pleased with the final result.
