Every piece of Hannah Louise Lamb jewellery has been handmade to last. We only use precious metals which means every piece is fairly low maintenance but there are a few things you can do to maintain the shine and lustre of your heirloom jewellery.

Gently polish your jewellery with a silver or gold polishing cloth regularly to restore it’s original lustre and shine.

Remove your jewellery when bathing and exercising. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes and harsh chemicals.

When you’re not wearing your jewellery, give it a quick polish then store separately in a cool, dark and dry place.

• Sterling silver is very durable and designed for everyday wear but when exposed to certain chemicals from products, chlorine or sweat, it can tarnish. But don’t worry, in most cases you can simply polish it with a silver polishing cloth to restore its original lustre.
• When you aren’t wearing your silver jewellery, give it a quick polish and keep it stored in a cool, dry and dark place, even better - you can use an anti tarnish jewellery pouch.
• For a deep clean, soak your silver in some warm water with mild soap for 5-10 minutes before polishing.
• Ultrasonic cleaners are safe to use with solid silver jewellery.

• Solid Gold is suitable for everyday wear and it’s resistant to tarnishing.
• Gently polish your gold jewellery regularly using a lint free polishing cloth or a specified gold polishing cloth to maintain it’s beauty and shine.
• If your gold jewellery needs an extra clean, soak it in warm water and a mild soap before gently polishing.
• Polish before storing and keep in a cool, dark and dry place.
• Gold jewellery is safe to use with an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner.

• White gold jewellery is suitable for everyday wear and it’s resistant to tarnishing.

You will receive a care guide, polishing cloth and emery paper with your order. Over time, through natural wear, the finishes on the two halves of your ring will change. To re-scuff the matt half from time to time, use the enclosed emery paper to gently rub the surface of your ring, The polished half of your ring can be brightened by rubbing with the silver polishing cloth.
