Handmade in my North Berwick studio, this personalised route ring transforms a meaningful walk, run, hike or cycling route into a bespoke silver ring. Whether it's your favourite Strava route, a mountain ascent, marathon course or a walk you return to time and again, I'll carefully translate your route into a two-part silver band.

There are certain routes you never forget. The one you trained for your first marathon on. A favourite hill walk. A coastal dog walk you've taken for years. The mountain trail where you proposed. This ring celebrates the journey, not the destination.

Simply send me a screenshot or GPX route from Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Google Maps, OS Maps or another route tracking app. It might follow the elevation of a climb, the outline of a trail, or a special journey. I will then hand-peirce the route through the centre of a silver ring to create to parts that fit together.

Each ring is made by hand in my North Berwick studio, using eco friendly and sustainable recycled sterling silver. The line is carefully refined so the two parts sit comfortably together on the finger.

You can choose to add a small diamond to mark a specific moment - a summit, a turning point, or the finish.

After you've placed your order, simply email Hannah a screenshot, map or GPX file from Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Google Maps, OS Maps or another route app. She'll send you a mock-up before making your ring.

Each ring is handmade to order and typically takes 2-3 weeks. If you have a specific date in mind, please let us know and Hannah will do her best to get it made for you in time.

Personalised Route Ring FAQs

  • Almost any meaningful route can be transformed into a ring. It could be a favourite walk, a hiking trail, a running route, a cycling route, a mountain ascent, a marathon course or a road trip. If you're unsure whether your route will work, just get in touch and Hannah will happily take a look before you order.

  • After you've placed your order, simply email Hannah a screenshot, map or GPS route. Whether you've saved it on Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Google Maps or another app, Hannah will use it to create your design and will send you a mock-up before making your ring.

  • Every route is carefully refined by hand so it works beautifully as a piece of jewellery. Hannah keeps the character and shape of your original route while making sure it fits naturally around the ring and is comfortable to wear.

  • Yes. An ethically sourced flush-set diamond can be added to mark a summit, finish line, proposal location, favourite viewpoint or another meaningful point along your route.

  • The route ring is made in two separate pieces. If the sizing is spot on, they sit snug on your finger and stay together as you wear it. They’re not fixed, so if the ring is loose or your hands are cold, the halves may move.

  • Yes. This design can be made in recycled sterling silver, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum. If you'd like a mixed metal version, just get in touch and Hannah can discuss the options with you.

  • Yes - like all jewellery, your ring will evolve with wear, but it’s easy to bring the ring back to it’s original look. Over time, the matte side will gradually burnish and the polished side may pick up fine scratches. I include a little care kit with every ring so you can refresh the textures at home if you wish, or just contact me.

  • Each ring is presented in our signature pebble-shaped box, which is made from sustainable mulberry paper. You'll also receive a polishing cloth, Scotch-Brite, and a care guide so you can keep your ring looking its best for years to come.

  • Absolutely. Many customers choose a Route Ring to celebrate a marathon, mountain climb, long-distance walk, cycling challenge or another special journey. If you're buying for someone else and don't know all the details yet, Hannah can work with you after purchase to finalise the design.
