A deep forest green tourmaline, October's birthstone, set in a silver bezel on an organic silver disc pendant finished with my signature Cove texture.
Each necklace is made to order in my North Berwick studio, starting with recycled sterling silver which I roll and work by hand into the softly curved, organic shape of the pendant. I then build up my signature sand-like texture across the surface.
The 4mm natural green tourmaline is responsibly sourced. I form the silver bezel by hand to fit the stone, before carefully setting the green tourmaline into place on the pendant.
Green Tourmaline is October’s birthstone, so you might choose it to mark your own birthday or someone important to you. Or it may simply be the stone you're most drawn to. The forest-green tone feels earthy and rich against the pale textured silver.
As I use natural gemstones, each green tourmaline will vary slightly from the image shown.
