A aqua-blue aquamarine, March's birthstone, set in a silver bezel on an organic silver disc pendant finished with my signature Cove texture.
Each necklace is made to order in my North Berwick studio, starting with recycled sterling silver which I roll and work by hand into the softly curved, organic shape of the pendant. I then build up my signature sand-like texture across the surface.
The 4mm natural aquamarine is responsibly sourced. I form the silver bezel by hand to fit the stone, before carefully setting the aquamarine into place on the pendant.
Aquamarine is March’s birthstone, so you might choose it to mark your own birthday or someone important to you. Or it may simply be the stone you're most drawn to. Its clear aqua-blue colour sits beautifully against the pale textured silver.
As I use natural gemstones, each aquamarine will vary slightly from the image shown.
