A wide textured silver ring set with a luminous large oval sky blue topaz.
This ring pairs a wide textured silver band with a large oval sky blue topaz, creating a strong, sculptural piece that still feels easy to wear.
The band is made from recycled sterling silver and finished with a soft, sand-like texture. It’s a surface is inspired by the grainy sand and stone along the coastline.
The stone sits in a smooth silver setting that grows naturally out of the band, lifting the Topaz so the facets catch the light. This bezel rise gives the topaz a clean and simple frame.
There’s something very satisfying about the proportions of this piece - the wide band, the smooth bezel setting around the large oval stone, and the contrast between the polished setting and the textured silver.
Each ring is handmade to order in my North Berwick studio.
