A deep blue sapphire, September's birthstone, set in a 9ct yellow gold bezel on an organic silver disc pendant finished with my signature Cove texture.
Each necklace is made to order in my North Berwick studio, starting with recycled sterling silver which I roll and work by hand into the softly curved, organic shape of the pendant. I then build up my signature sand-like texture across the surface.
The 4mm natural sapphire is responsibly sourced and set in solid 9ct yellow gold. I form the bezel by hand to fit the stone, before carefully setting the sapphire into place on the pendant.
Sapphire is September’s birthstone, so you might choose it to mark your own birthday or someone important to you. Or it may simply be the stone you're most drawn to. Each necklace is made individually for the person who will wear it.
As I use natural gemstones, each sapphire will vary slightly from the image shown.
